Guidelines on protecting proprietary source code, company assets, and secure development practices.
Last Updated: July 2026
All source code, algorithms, architectural designs, and software frameworks developed during employment or contract work with BRR Softwares remain the exclusive intellectual property (IP) of BRR Softwares or its designated clients.
Strict Prohibition on Public Sharing: Employees, contractors, and miniGCC staff are strictly prohibited from uploading, sharing, or publishing any proprietary code to public repositories (e.g., public GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket), forums (e.g., StackOverflow), or public AI training models (e.g., ChatGPT) without explicit, written authorization from management.
While we encourage efficient development, reusing proprietary BRR Softwares code for personal projects, freelance work, or unauthorized third-party projects is considered theft of company assets. Additionally, incorporating external Open Source code into BRR Softwares' proprietary products or client deliverables must strictly adhere to our internal licensing approval process to avoid copyleft (e.g., GPL) contamination.
All laptops, servers, and digital environments provisioned by BRR Softwares must only be used for authorized corporate activities. Storing company source code on personal, unmanaged devices is strictly forbidden. Upon termination of employment, all code repositories must remain securely on company servers, and all local copies must be destroyed.
